- To run Vista, you need to upgrade your machine. You could just keep what you have but you will probably run into problems with memory requirements and so forth. Buying a new computer WILL cost you thousands of dollars. Especially when you think of th requirements for Vista. Many are looking for an alternative for this. I personally, build all of my computers from scratch but I am very busy these days and don’t really have the time for this task.

 What I did was start searching for different things I could use to basically, enhance the preformence of my machine. I need something to help Vista run more smoothly with less freezing. Basically, you can do this by doing a clean for your entire system. 

I found a really useful tool that can help you do this for FREE. The site also has a paid version, but I think the free version is fine. If you want to download the paid program, you can.
